DJXMMX.net Secure
I recently started looking into a better SSL solution to djxmmx.net and while searching I came across StartSSL by StartCom.
Through StartCom, I can get high quality SSL certificates for much cheaper than Verisign or Thawte.
I now employ their certificates at djxmmx.net!
These certificates are fully valid in many web browsers (Firefox) and for those that are not, just follow the instructions below:

- March 25, 2009
- - Got a lot of users asking about the proxies. Published a little note about the proxy situation here: Proxy Notice.
- March 23, 2009
- - Removed all of the proxies located in the tools section. They are no longer needed by myself and were just being used to browse porn from users in Saudi Arabia and Poland (yes, I occasionally check the logs).

- - Finished publishing the "Change User Password" tool for registered users. With that, registered users can now change their password any time they choose.
If you forget your password and need it reset, just email me and I can do that for you.
- February 20, 2009
- - Changed the PNG Fix for IE6 to actually fix the transparency on images. I went with a different script setup that actually works but may degrade browsing experience a bit, once again, only in IE6.

Server

- - Server is finally back up and now running on Windows Server 2008 Datacenter with IIS7!
Expect a lot of things not to work as the web site is pretty much the last of my priorities with the new server system.

- - Those of you who regularly (or irregularly) visit the site have noticed that recently there has been a lot of down time. Part of this is because I finally was able to redo my network and was having a bunch of problems getting it just right.
Another problem was the servers' UPS. Lately it has been acting up, hard shutting down the server multiple times when on batter power and causing a lot of corruption of the OS HDD. Some of the corruption is irreversible and now I may have to redo the entire domain controller (which means a lot of down time and loss of all user accounts). All though 99% of the actual data is fine, the OS corruption is very bad so, at this point, I don't know what I'm going to do.

A Look Into The Past
|
I first started hosting a web site for some personal resources back in August of 2006. Since then, I have learned a great deal about Windows Server 2003, HTML, CSS, ASP (VBScript), and JavaScript.
Now, with the lastest version of my site, I would like to offer a look at my previous versions.
My current site is actualy Version 4 and the ones I have archived are versions 2 and 3.
I do not have any remaining copies of my original (version 1) site, but trust me, It was very bad... It looked like a readme file.
